The SWLA Center for Health Services presents the KidFit Walk for Obesity at the Lake Charles Civic Center on March 13, 2010, from 9am to 11am. Louisiana ranks seventh in the nation in childhood obesity. KidFit, a 12 week program for children which includes fitness, nutrition, and recreational activities, is raising awareness about the growing childhood obesity epidemic at this 1st Annual Walk for Obesity. You can register as an individual or as a team. The registration fee is $20 per person (includes t-shirt and bracelet).
